The 3rd bout between Pacquiao, Marquez to be symbolic

The third bout between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez will may be an interesting fight as the number one Pound-for-Pound King has found a firm reason to become the ruthless and hungry boxer as he once before. Pacman declared that his fight with Marquez on November 12 will be symbolic since he considers Marquez as the last boxer standing from Mexico.

As we all known, almost all of the boxers in Mexico were defeated by Pacman on the course of his career. The Pound-for-Pound Boxer promised that he will no longer be sympathetic inside the boxing ring. He also said that this time, it will be different and this will not be like the other matches he had. Pacman added that it will be a fight for a national pride.

This statement was made by the Filipino Champ at the Shape Up gym in Baguio City after his eight rounds sparring session with Jorge Linares of Venezuela, who is also a former two times world champion. In addition, Linares, who is slated to match Antonio DeMarco of the vacant World Boxing Council Lightweight Title on October 15 in Los Angeles, also trains under Freddie Roach, the trainer and coach of Pacman.

Appearing that he is nearing superb shape, Pacman did seven rounds of mitt training with his coach after his sparring with Linares. In the final few days of Pacman’s training, he said that he will concentrate more on improving his speed. He will shut his training camp in Baguio on Friday afternoon before going to Manila.
