Pacman versus Marquez: The Trilogy Fight

The much awaited third bout between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Juan Miguel Marquez comes nearer and nearer. The fight is scheduled on November 12, 2011. The first fight between the two boxers took place in 2004 that ended in a draw, and the number one Pound-for-Pound King, who already won several titles in a record of eight weight divisions, won their second fight after four years in a very contentious split decision.

This coming bout will be for the WBO welterweight title of Pacquiao and will battle at a catch weight of 144 pounds. In addition, the boxing record of Pacquiao is 53-2-2 with 38 knockouts, while Marquez, who won three consecutive fights since losing in 2009 to Floyd Mayweather Jr., has a boxing record of 53-5-1 with 39 knockouts.

HBO will air the coming fight of well-known boxers and they will also make and distribute the third bout of the Pound-for-Pound King against Marquez. The fight will be held at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The premium network lost the rights to the last fight of Pacquiao against Shane Mosley in May to Showtime, and the upsetting loss of the largest attraction in the sport was one of the major aspects in Ross Greenburg, the president of HBO, who stoop down last July.

The tickets are now on sale and thousands of boxing aficionados are already thrilled to purchase tickets so that they will definitely have seats inside the MGM Grand Arena on the fight night. The prices of tickets range from $200, $400, $600, $900 and $1,200. Marquez was very eager to fight the Pound-for-Pound King to let the world who will be the true winner between them.
