Pacman VS Bradley: Does the Result Really Worth It?
The results of the bout between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley shocked not only the Filipinos, but also almost all people around the world. The scorecards of the judges really upset many for the split decisions that make Bradley the new champion. As for a lot of people, they claimed that the Pound-for-Pound King is the real winner and not Bradley. He is the new welterweight champion and Bradley is still willing for a rematch to really see who the real winner is.
Of course, Pacman is all willing for a rematch even though he knows that he is still the winner despite of the decision of the judges. The Pound-for-Pound King still respects the judges’ decision, saying that he even though the decision is in favor of Bradley; he knows in himself that he won the fight. In addition, many boxing analysts claimed that Pacman gave much more power punches and jabs compared to what Bradley done.
Coach Freddie Roach, which is the trainer of the People’s Champ, said that he wanted to make an investigation about the results of the scorecards. Even the promoter Bob Arum said that the judges are all blind to see the real winner and also wants to investigate the results of the scorecards. Even some of the well-known celebrities in Hollywood like Paris Hilton, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Kim Kardashian and a lot more tweeted their disappointments with the final results of their fight.
In your opinion, who really won the fight? Is there any chance for a rematch? If so, how will Pacman show that he is the real winner after all? As Bradley said in an interview after their fight, he claimed that he was hurt by Pacman’s punches. Does this mean that he is not worth to win at all?
